SACRED: A Journey to Reclaim the Sacred Dance Within
Sacred Waves invites you into a profound experience to rediscover yourself as a sacred being through the ancient and primal language of dance.

In this immersive workshop, we honor the wisdom of our ancestors, who danced not only to connect but to heal, create, and celebrate life. Together, we’ll reclaim dance as a potent tool for personal and communal transformation.
Awakening – Reconnect to your primal self through the 5 foundational stages of movement. As we revisit our pre-verbal stages—rolling, creeping, crawling, standing, and walking—we awaken our instinctual body memory and open ourselves to the energy of new beginnings.
Flowing – Rooted in the support of the earth, we step into sacred space through grounded, rounded movements, feeling into the rhythm of our connection to the Great Mother and inviting flow into our bodies.
Staccato – Embrace your truth with sharp, clear movements, giving authentic expression to each layer of your being. In staccato, we celebrate the Sacred through the clarity of our voice and the wisdom of our hips.
Chaos – Surrender fully as we abandon the mind, release constraints, and let go of judgments, wounds, and burdens. In this freeing space, we dance faster than thought, allowing ourselves to move beyond reason and into the Sacred within.
Lyrical – Here, we relax into the dance, guided by the sweetness of self-compassion. This rhythm invites pure, effortless joy, allowing us to delight in our journey with ease and grace.
Stillness – Finally, we honor the sacred pauses, allowing answers to arise from within. In the quiet, we connect deeply to the eternal dance within our bodies, finding wisdom and guidance in the stillness.
